By far the best Chinese restaurant in town. The owners are passionate about food quality and hospitality. You can tell by the amount of regularly customers, both Chinese and Western. Quality and attention to details are excellent, you will never get a pot of tea with warm water like some other restaurants. All staff are friendly and professional. Not matter you prefer your chinese food 'authetic' or 'anglo' this is the place to go. They simply serve good food!

I regularly visit for the buffet lunch on a Sunday. Lots of Chinese restaurants offer this for a similar price (£10.95) but here it is excellent - by far the best buffet I have enjoyed. Conceeding that some of the dishes like the rice and the desserts are bought in, the selection of fish, meat and vegetables is exceptional and very good value, particularly if you like seafood. The selection of starters is fairly standard but usually very fresh. I have taken guests there many times and whilst its not a sophisticated experience, its clean, pleasant, and reliable on quality and value.

Went there on company do (16 people) with set menu for £25 per head and quite frankly it was disappointing. The portions were minute and the chef's set menu choice was risable. The starters were what you would expect with 1 off spring roll, 2 off 2-inch ribs, ostrich meat (4 cubes), 1 lobster between 8. Duck came next which was very typical and nice - 3 pancakes each. Next came 2 of the strangest dishes I have ever encountered. Prawns in a cheesy custard and a beef curry which more akin to a Lancashire Hotpot. The rice was dry and tasteless. Rounded off with Tesco soft scoop vanilla ice-cream one scoop and 2 toffee apples.

Service is over attentive and intrusive at times but staff are very pleasant. Overall not very good value for money and I came away dissatisfied. I was expecting an abundance of food from which you could pick and choose.
