Putney Station

I have been to Putney Station on 5 or 6 occasions and have been impressed every time. The food is inexpensive and pleasantly simple (but not bland) which makes a welcome change to the plethora of restaurant menus that insist on fusing too many tastes. The service is friendly and efficient without being overbearing.

A pleasant enough restaurant (albeit with a silly name) though fairly uninspiring menu (some of which is reasonably priced - pizzas for £5 - and some a bit more expensive - ravioli for £10) but the food itself is tasty and quickly delivered. The main part of the restaurant is all smoking, so sadly the non-smokers get relegated to a small upper section. The service is friendly though I do think it's a bit unprofessional when the waitresses sing along to the (fairly loud) piped music in loud voices! Overall a nice place but there are plenty of nicer ones!
