I'm italian first of all and secondly I love to taste food. This restaurant is an insult for everybody. Mediocre food with a price of a Ferrari. If this is the new food culture that is coming in London...oh my god!!!!

Lets have 2 for the price of one???
What is that all about, obviously the place has lost the plot.
The food is disgusting, the drinks are the same and service is terible. This is a club just like the Hipodrome in Leicester Square. "Cheap and full of Muppets"

Mediocre, Mediocre, Mediocre. Whats happened to the lovely food?, whats happened to the attention to detail? Where have the chefs gone?
Where are the customers?.
Arrived on a wednesday evening with a friend of mine and the overall experience was pathetic. Food lacked on flavour, ingredients are not like they use to be. We had a texture of chewing gum for what they call squid with chilli mint. My friend had bangers & mash, to be quite franc I can cook that at home better!!! Skip the dessert. My coctails, were served in hot glasses which seems that they just washed them, I thought I ordered Mojito and NOT mojito tea!!!
Not recommended!!! The Wellington Club is dead!!!

The restaurant is simply brilliant! The food is delicious and the service is both super friendly and elegant. The whole staff including the restaurant manager Tim and the lovely waitresses are always there to help. However, a special mention goes to the chef Fernando and his equally lovely wife. They made a intimate members club into a culinary highlight in the Kensington area. By far the best restaurant in any members club, if not in that area as a whole. It is very rare to find a restaurant in London that has great food, great staff, great location in a great venue. For many people a European familiarity that rarely exists in today's London makes this place a home away from home. The Wellington is truly a special place and the restaurant has made it that extra special.

Have visited the Wellington Club twice for dinner and felt compelled to put in a word. On both occassions we sampled tasting menus building on the chefs knowledge of Mexican and European cuisine. On our most recent visit, we had a fantastic shrimp ceviche (one of the best I have had), followed by one of the better cuts of beef I have had in London garnished with Mexican mole. The chefs also created some appetizers using tinga (chicken & tomato) as a topping for tostadas. The suggested wines and coctails blended perfectly with the food.
The restaurant is part of a private club and has a very comfortable environment for dinner, intimate with excellent service. We are not members of the club and have been invited a couple of times, looking forward to another invitation for dinner!

Within an area surrounded by the highest standards of quality and service, head chefs Fernando and Kristy Stovell created something truly exceptional in the heart of Knightsbridge. The modern European menu designed by these classically trained professional chefs exceeds the highest expectations of their guests. Using only the finest ingredients and personally explaining the menu to customers, guests are able to fully appreciate the attention to detail the Stovells impart into very unique dishes. The ever present oversight of the club owners, the friendly and crisp service by the staff, the ambiance of a chic scene with an edge, and of course some of the finest food and presentation in London, all combine to make an evening at the Wellington Club a memorable experience to be repeated. The Stovells sincerely care about every customer and it shows by the personal attention they devote to each of them.
