Lontosa

The staff at this restuarant ought to learn how to speak english more fluently and be more civil and polite to customers that eat there. I have eaten there and I certainly won't be going back again as the staff are extremely rude.impolite and condecending towards their customers

I have been visiting this place for years now and was hesitating in adding a review because I wanted to keep this place all to myself and my friends!

From a vegetarian's perspective the food is delicious and of great value. You also get large portions and there is lots of choice. You can't go wrong with the noodle bar, which allows you to mix and match pretty much any ingredients and flavours you like. The service isn't exactly professional, but the staff are friendly and polite.

I have eaten at many East Asian places in London, but this is by far my favourite.

good food and remind me a lot from my country, but the service need to be improved a bit, dont let your customer wait for a long time even the food is execllent. anyway, I will back to again,very value for money.

We never actually got to taste the food as we arrived, sat there for 15-20 minutes and then left as noone came to take our order for drinks let alone food!!!

The service was ridiculous - with a busy restaurant on a Thursday evening, there were only 2 people serving and noone acknowledged us until we got up to leave (by which time it was too late)...we then went next door to the Golden Palace where we had to wait 10 minutes to get a table but the food and service was good.

I would not recommend Lontosa to anyone unless you like waiting 20 minutes before someone offers you a drink.

Good dim sum and the banana fritters with ice cream was impecabbly presented.(although a little more chocolate sauce wouldn't go amiss).

I didn't like the noodles I ordered, but my mum liked hers. But lets be fair. It's a mix and match noodle bar. You choose your type of noodles, type of vegetable and sauce, type of meat and method of cooking. I bet I'd like another style better. I just chose the wrong dish. Good vegetarian options. So far I've found the service friendly (although we were ignored for a long while one time and we were the only customers. The two waitresses were having their meal at a table nearby. I suppose they have to eat too). The decor is good.

I must say that I love Lontosa - The atmosphere is nice, it's kind of got that coffee house cool feel to it, it's quite and feels laid back. The food is cheap, nice and you get plenty to eat for your money. On a scale of one to ten I give this place a 'yum'.

This is a unique and delightful restaurant, as you can see from most of the reviews, except the only one, which I gathered is a trouble making drunk who caused trouble by demanding the earth and being loutish. The only reason they gave the bad review, cos they were in the wrong in the first place, everyone who has being to this restaurant and has a brain would know that what you are saying is total and utter crap! get a life people and stop rubbishing others cos you did wrong, god will punish those eventually, so watch out!

This restaurant is one of the worst Thai restaurants I have ever been to. The service from staff was atrocious. I had a unique and unbelievable experience of being told that beacuse I didnt finish all of my food, I wasn't allowed to leave and would have to pay extra - although I had paid for all of the food I ordered!!! I have NEVER heard of this ANYWHERE I have ever eaten. As one of my party began to feel unwell we were helpfully told that she should have known she would be feeling ill before she arrived! - As wish we had known what your food would taste like Lontosa!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced and sub-standard food. NOT worth the effort - steer clear of Lontosa!

Excellent food. DimSum is really tasty. I lived in Singapore for 20 years. I am really glad I found this restaurant. I can have my favourite Malaysian, Chinese and Thai food now.Prices are very reasonable.
