Fantastic Local restaurant. A bit hidden but what a gem really excellent food (huge portions), and very good wines and beers. We go there regularly as with is friendly atmosphere and good-value-for-money food it is just always the most pleasant experience.

A very impressive restaurant and bar. What first attracted me to this place was the bar, with its impressive collection of beers and wines. Beers are sourced from all over Europe, and there some very tasty beers on offer. There is also a healthy stock of wine which compliment the excellent bar food or restaurant food. The drinks menu also provides an excellent description of each beer and wine so you know exactly what you are getting. After a few visits I ventured into the restaurant area, and had an amazing three-course meal. The menu provides a wide variety of food, without overcrowding the menu, which shows that the menu is designed each week with the ingredients either in season or available. The food is absolutely divine. Each dish was cooked extremely well and the presentation was also very good. The portions are very good, and it was a struggle to fit all 3 courses in. The home-made desserts are just what you want after a good meal, not packet desserts line in many restaurants. The service was excellent throughout the evening. My only criticism is that there is no set price for three-courses, but I have to say I didn't mind paying what I did as it was all great.

Great little locals bar/restaurant. Food is outstanding- gastro style but they haven't gone down that route with the decor for a change. Great range ofvarious beers- belgium and the like. Very welcoming owner and staff..only drawback is that it gets too smokey (and some of the bench seats are v uncomfortable) but still the best bar and restaurant in the area.

I love this little place - it's a real find in an area with very few options. It has a really intimate charm about it - and feels like you are in a unique place. The food is good too and portions are of a good size. My only critisism would be that the menu is a bit on the small side. Service also excellent!
