The food is delicious and priced very cheaply. The restaurant is small and usually crowded, so I recommend getting a reservation.

Took a guest speaker and three colleagues out to dinner here. The food was okay, but I was shocked when they asked us to leave after 90 minutes. Literally we had just finished our coffee/dessert and they asked us to leave, since apparently they had overbooked. Our group spent something like 85 pounds here. I was simply shocked by the horribly rude treatment we were given. I would recommend avoiding this place, at least if you want to be treated decently.

It's the best thai food I have ever tasted.

The food tastes awesome and the service is really good. You can almost finish your entire dinner in less than an hour!

Highly recommended...

I would recommend this restaurant, absolutely. The food is and has been delicious, everytime i have been there. The service is prompt and efficient. The food is also very reasonably priced. A main meal will set you back approximately £7.00!

The only downfall i would say, is the discretionary charge that they add to your bill, and do not even enquire whether you would be willing to pay for it! In my opinion, if there is a large group of people, then they should implement a discretionary charge, but not for just two people, as were myself and a friend.

Furthermore, i have also ordered food to take out, and they have STILL added a discretionary charge to my bill, without even consulting me. They were totally out of order to have added the discretionary charge, as i ordered food to take out!

In conclusion, the food is great, reasonably priced and the service is excellent; but their greedy discretionary charge leaves me with disappointment. It should be at the customers "discretion" whether they can afford and/or wish to leave a tip!

I love this place! Its just a shame it is so close to work because I end up spending all my money eating there :)

The food is always lovely, service is great (staff are always smiley and willing to help). The food is not even overprice considering how good it tastes, theres another Thai resturant a few shops down and although the foods good in there, there is no competition, Siam Central wins hands down.

Its a small place, but there is enough seating downstairs for parties. They have a great tapas menu, but also try the Pad Thai or the Steamed fish, great!

For a quick Sunday night supper, Siam Central was an excellent choice. There are at least three other Thai restaurants within walking distance but this place had been recommended by several foodies-in-the-know. It's a cute-and-cosy corner site opposite the Charlotte St Hotel and on our visit it was quiet and relaxed, though I imagine it gets busy at lunchtime and mid-week.

The food? Not the best Thai I've ever had but miles better than some of the stuff we've eaten in London. Weeping tiger and a very fresh and fragrant red curry were the highlights, while I chose badly and didn't really rate the stir-fry. Would definitely opt for the curry next time.

Service was polite and efficient throughout and the bill came to about £35 (2 mains, 2 starters, 2 drinks). Great value for that area. Would happily go back as you can easily spend twice that for mediocre fare on the same street.
