I decided to go the Muna's restaurant & it was a fantastic experience. Muna was a fabulous hostess with a effervesscent personality & the food was out of this world. Muna only uses the best of British produce but there are some exotic spices she sources from abroad I loved everything but especially the aubergine dip it was velvety & sumptuous delicious. I would definitely recommend going there its a place for fun food & total frolics.

I went to Muna's on Friday night with friends who had been before and fell in love with it. It did not disappoint and now I am recommending it to all my friends.

The food was delicious, I had never eaten this type of food before but found it to be very tasty. The atmosphere was nice, the environment very clean and interesting artifacts on the wall.

It was full of regulars who live in the area and I get the impression it's like a second home to them with Muna as a second mum. She is a lovely lady who chats to her guests, jokes with them all and makes the most amazing coffee which you have to book ahead for because she roasts the coffee beans in front of you and makes the coffee in a clay vessel. It takes a while and expect atleast 3 cups and to be buzzing for the next 3 hours but it is delicious, the best coffee I have ever had.

It was very very reasonably priced. We ate all that we could and had a couple of beers plus coffee and it was only about £18 each (for four of us.)

Definitely go check it out!

Muna's restaurant offers authentic Eritrean food and friendly service. The spotlessly clean dining room is decorated with Eritrean handcrafts and real Eritrean music plays softly in the background. There are plenty of vegetarian options and the prices are reasonable. Most importantly, the food tastes good. If you've never tried Ethiopian or Eritrean food then this is a good place to try something new.

What a find!! 4 of us had a fabulous evening at Muna's one Friday night on the spur of the moment. We had walked past but never entered before. The food was delicious and Muna plus her wonderful waitress were fabulous. Muna will happily guide you in your choices if you are unfamiliar with Sudanese food - and take her advice. Eat traditionally with your fingers - it is such a refreshing experience. This is not just a meal, it is a whole cultural adventure. Enjoy!

Just love the resuarant , the food, and most importartantly the proprieteress. She is such a sweet person. It's highly recommended, when I asked why she did not move to a posher part of town and double her prices she replied that she has to stay close to home to fulfil her Matrairchal duties.

I have eaten here a few times now and, I have to say, I love Muna. She's great fun. Eating here is more like eating at a nutty aunts place then at a restaurant - you just pay a little at the end. And the food - WOW! My husband and I are vegetarians, and there is plenty of choice for us. Muna has even made us a few dishes that aren't on the menu. The place really deserves to be way more popular then it is.

Muna's is the best restaurant in London. I went there quite by accident the first time as a cold-calling salesman. Muna (chef and owner) made me feel so welcome, I ended up staying for 90 minutes and we chatted about cuisine over some superb freshly made coffee.

Now, I go there whenever I can because (as I discovered) the food is superb and Muna herself is an angel. Food is exotic and gently spiced (only very hot chili if requested) and the eating alone is an experience with the injira pancake like bread to mop up sauce and wrap food parcels.

I love talking with our hostess Muna, who is very intelligent and can talk about any subject. The food is amazingly good value and filling without being heavy.

Invariably, I will stay on loner, drink coffee after coffee and imbibe from the "hookah" pipe, which I know is called something else but I can't remember its other name. Apple flavour is my favourite.

A place where, as others have stated, you feel comfortable staying until whatever time. Four hours can gently flow past in what seems like minutes.

Why are there not people clamouring to get into this restaurant on week nights? By the way, Muna just won an award as best chef in Harringay. No-one who has eaten there will be surprised at all.

Considering what good value it is, how great the food is, and how welcome Muna makes you feel, I can't believe that this place is always nearly empty. I've been a few times now, and its been great every time. Muna will talk you through the menu and make suggestions, she will tell you if she feels you've over-ordered or ordered dishes that are too similar. If you opt to eat in the traditional way the food comes served on injera on a large lazy Susan, so you can all share. Seven of us went for a leaving do and it was really good fun to eat communaly. We had two vegatarians with us and they were provided with their own meat free lazy Susan with out any fuss. Even as the last customers left in the restaurant at 11 on a week night we were offered complimentary tea rather than being ostentaiously cleared up around like you get in so many restaurants. Highly reccomended - if you live in Haringey its well worth a go!
