I and my sister and her husband have come to know the proprietors of this wonderful establishment on a more personal basis. The excellent food, friendly & efficient service and lovely surroundings all serve to create a 'family' environnment. I love it there and am only too happy to recommend it to friends, family and even strangers! Long may they reign!

Thank you for a delightfully warm evening, the Iraqi food was, I can assure everyone, as home cooked as you can get, authentic and you can actually taste the ingredients instead having to imagine them. Service was as expected, attentive and friendly, though not overbearing or patronising. Mespotamia is one of those restaurants that people return to for many years.

Finally we've found a Middle Eastern treasure in London. What a find! Not only has it become one our local eatery but the food, atmosphere & genuine staff never cease to amaze us. The potato chap, date & walnut & the chicken with walnuts & pomegranate are all divine.
The interior is an aladin's cave of wonders. Babylon has come to London with a replica of the gates of Ishtar, wonderful stone walls and mystical scriptures.
I recommend Mesopotamia to anyone. Come & eat in the heart of cultural wembley!

Ate here last night and thought food, service and ambience were excellent! Starters were unusual and delicious (esp the date dip) Owner was pleasant and made us feel welcome. Great value for money and wine was good too. Would def go back that place has some of the best persian food i have tasted! Shame they are not around other places in London

A Pearl in Wembley, enter through the doors and you pass into another world. You could easily be mistaken for thinking you had walked into a "Valentino" film set.The food is Sublime all freshly prepared the starters leave you breathless the Houmous is so creamy and the date and walnut paste is an explosion on the taste buds. The falafel just melts in your mouth and as for the lamb dishes all perfectly cooked the lamb is so tender!. The welcome is warm and sincere the eating experience a pleasure to behold. dont leave without a visit to the chocolate fountain. the pretiest most romantic restaurant in london with out putting the squeze on your wallet.
