Loch Fyne Restaurant

Having been once before and having not being enamoured the first time, I decided to give Loch Fyne a second go. So visited in June 2007. The service was excellent but the food did not quite reach the same level. The Thai mussels to start were reasonable but the king prawns with garlic were difficult to peel and tasted of.. well .. prawn once I had waded through the shells. My partner had fishcakes and yes they were good but not that good and we paid around £3.50 for a miniscule portion of vegetables.
The food is ok and would be considered good if the prices on the menu were about 60 percent of what's on there now. Having eaten at Smiths for the same sort of cost, perhaps I have been spoilt.
