Sushi Hiroba
your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne
There are a lot of things that really are different about Sushi Hiroba. The interior design is very impressive, which cannot be seen elsewhere in other Japanese restaurants in London. They have very friendly staffs offering good service. Sitting in front of the conveyer belt, I was amazed by the artistic presentation of the rolls which tasted as good as they looked. I am definitely going back!

The service is unbelievably dappy here and the sushi is slathered liberally in mayonnaise (who was it who once said that an ounce of sauce will cover a multitude of sins?) Definitely not going back, overpriced for what it is.

I organised a birthday party for a friend here and it was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and even gave the birthday girl a free bottle of champagne! After dinner we went down to one of the karaoke rooms which was really plush and so much fun. It was such good value for money - great food, a lot of wine, and a good sing along for about £30.

Sushi Hiroba serves great sushi with a Korean twist (all the front line staff seemed to be Korean).
As well as the classics such as tuna, eel, salmon etc, they also have a variety of sushi using Korean spices and ingredients such as kimchi. Also their hand rolls mix and match a much greater variety of ingredients than you would normally see in a traditional Japanese sushi house.
For the freshest dishes I'd recommend you stick to the hand rolls because they are made to order. The other sushi dishes are made and then placed on the kaiten belt so they can end up going round for hours.
Overall, highly recommended.

I dare say that this place makes the most beautiful sushi in London.
I can't remember having sushi so fresh.
Although some hot orders took longer than it should, I couldn't complain since I had such a pleasant evening.
To sushi addicts the place is a must.

This great place - which brands itself as 'Fusion Japanese' is actually run by Koreans and offers quirky and delicious interpretations using fresh and exotic ingredients as well as the usual sushi suspects. Eat at the conveyer belt or a booth table, plates are colour coded according to price. Afterwards, if you're that way inclined, take a trip to the basement karaoke box ...

Went there with a friend when it first opened. Good decor and very friendly staff. Even when we had been there for a couple of hours and the place had got busy, the staff were still attentive and very happy for us to stay. Great presentation and tasty sushi. Will definately go again
