This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in London. Its interior is simple, with plain wooden tables and benches, the food is really nice (I always, always have the fantastic Paneer Dosa but have also tried various dishes that friends had ordered; the thalis are good, too, and it's all vegetarian) and it's always bustling with people. Service is quick and efficient and ususally the waiters are really friendly. They serve only non-alcoholic drinks but have a BYO policy. Try not to go to the bathroom, though, the state of which lets the restaurant down. They also sometimes have the AC set to stormy, but are willing to turn it down on request.

I have visited Diwana in Euston several times and am never disappionted. For vegetarians, one of the best places. I recently tried Benares restaurant and could not believe how they could justify such steep prices for such average food, whereas at Diwana, you can eat at a fraction of the price and such excellent food.

I recently visited Diwana upon recommendation by a good friend and wasn't disappointed.
Our group was afforded a warm welcome and service was swift yet unobstrusive throughout the evening. The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to visit on a day when they had one of their weekend specials - braised lamb shank with honey and spices. The flavour was superb and the dish was extremely well presented, plated with a neat mound of excellently fluffy rice.
An all-round quality experience. I will definitely be back.
