I have really enjoyed the lunchtime buffets here in the past but was less satisfied with a recent evening meal. My friend and I couldn't decide whether to go for dosas or thalis. We went for the latter. They were ok, just nothing special. The food wasn't really quite hot enough temperature-wise and a bit lacking in flavour but it was quite edible and inoffensive. I enjoyed making a dent into the rich dessert of saffron cream cheese. The service was polite and prompt, the atmosphere downstairs is very good, much better than upstairs where we were sat. And yes, the toilets are in a pretty poor state... In summary, unpretentious place to fill the stomach!
