I do love this restaurant. ( The one in Highbury) Food is made with the best quality ingredients, fresh and seems like they have imported them from Italy. Mushroom antipasti served in the Carta Musica is just heaven and Pizza is definetely the best I have eaten in my life (Although I wasn't in Italy yet)

The staff is lovely and even fun. I specially love when they talk to me in Italian. The choice of wines is really good too, I would recommed the Sardinian wines that are a sure value.

I have been to Il Bacio in Stoke Newington too and it's ok but not really at the same level to the one in Highbury.

Only little problem, they haven't changed the menu for a while and in 1 year I have been going there I may have tried most of dishes, this made me try another Italian restaurants to my greatest dissapointment. Il Bacio Higbury has become for us, the benchmark for all Italian restaurants in London, which can be annoying when you want to try some new dishes. If the owner read this, please bring some new dishes to the menu, cause otherwise the place is more than perfect.

I've just been there, with the aim to find a place to see the Serie A match Roma-Lazio in London, I discovered a great place to eat....

Food is good

The placement is ok, I had never been in Arsenal before...I' ve to say it's ok

Even the pizza is well cooked and far from the wrapping paper tipically sold as pizza in london

If you ask for a good table to see the match on the TV you won't be let down by the owner that is really proactive

Good value for money.....it's a full passed

I recently got take-away from the Stoke Newington branch and was extremely disappointed.

We arrived to pick up our order and were rudely told they do not take cards (the order was over £30) - who these days doesn't take card?!

By the time we came back with the cash the order was lukewarm - no apology offered. Got the food home which was good (once warmed in the oven) although any toppings we ordered were barely visible!

The staff were obstinate and argumentative and implied that it was my fault.

If you're going for a family meal here, make sure you take sufficient amounts of cash!

il bacio is a great place to eat and has been for years! We go as a family at least twice a month and are never disappointed with the food, service or atmosphere. We are also glad it is not too close to Upper Street which has become very tacky and full of very average restaurants. The staff at il bacio have watched my son grow up and treat him like part of their family.

This restaurant is what all Italian eateries should be... Buzzy atmosphere, family orientated, family welcoming and hot fresh simple food and authentic Italian owners with fantastic service!

We visit this restaurant weekly with our kids, and have done since they were little babies, and are always welcomed, and feel relaxed and comfortable and always come out well fed!!

Food is good and tastes fresh.

The atmosphere is a little "family" for my tastes, and the big TV's showing euro pop video suck - if I wanted to watch TV I'd stay at home.
