I was sooooooooooooo disapointed. I love Royal China in Bayswater but this place was really not worth it. The service was extremely slow, we waited for 30 mins for the first dim dum to arrive ( they are exactly the same as in normal royal china restaurants but with glutinous rice for example, you get much less). And then we had half a pekign duck, which meant 2 pancakes each!!!! such a rip off. To top it off as one of the waiters fished a crab out of the aquarium, he just put it on the side and the porr thing flee on the floor! I heard the crack in the shell!
Go to any Royal China restaurant except this one!

The service was excellent. Food, fantastic, atmosphere brilliant. I cannot fault them at all, apart for the fact that they had too much choice! Was by far the best chinese restaurant I have ever been to.

This is without a doubt in a class of its own as far as Chinese restaurants are concerned.
The quality of the food is uniformly superb, the cooking and presentation are masterly, and the service is most professional.
Of course the prices are on the high side, but for a special treat it would take a lot of beating. We can't wait to retrurn.

We couldn't get into it's sister restaurant a few doors away, so thought we would try this instead - the food was delicious and the service was excellent. It's pricier but well worth it. Also not having to cue is a bonus!

Went here by mistake instead of the "normal" Baker St Royal China, and seriously regretted it...
Mediocre food, average service and a pretentiously short menu with very little to choose from.
It's overpriced anyway, but then they try it on with a 15% service charge! I'll be happy never to return here.
PS. This restaurant is listed as being in Salford for some reason - it's in London!
