We went for a meal at The Strada resturant last Sat , as a family. We have been before and we always enjoy it here. The service was very prompt, we had the pizza bread basket as a starters this was lovely ( its like a pizza in itself , so take care if your a small eater having a main meal as you could get too filled up). My mother in law opted for the fresh baked pizza it was lovely and comes up quite large, whilst the other members of the family went for the chicken dish with a creamy sauce ( very nice) my brother had the lamb but that was very small . All in all we had a lovely evening and all the meals were great
The only thing that I dont really like is the tip is included in the bill Id rather chose what to give as to be forced to give.

We were recently in London and had dinner at the Strada one evening. The white wine was not chilled, the extra salad (4 pounds) turned out to be 1 tomatoe with some slices of onion. The chicken meat was overcooked (burned in the grll) and very dry. The idea was that the mushroom sauce would soak into the meat, but since there was only minute amounts of sauce, this did not happen. I have never sent out a dish in my life, but this was it. I was offered another dish (salmon) which turned out to be raw inside. I ate it with a smile and then we fled this restaurant. One of my worse restaurant experiences ever.

A warm, friendly pizzeria with a neighbourhood feel. Superb wood fired pizzas just slightly too big for the large plates - perfect! :-) Crisp bases and restrained toppings make a really authentic and delicious experience. A bit pricey perhaps (in comparison with Italy) but fine for London. Service was "relaxed" as a large table was mid-flow as we entered, and the "staff wanted" poster in the window meant that the waiting staff were at full stretch, but they were attentive enough and cheerful.

Having been to Strada once before with a large party we decided to go back to this venue once again on Sat night. The resturant itself is very cosy and dim lit with candals on the table ( rather romantic!)
We ordered the Pizza Bread with pesto it was lovely and enough for the 2 of us at about £3.50 for 4 slices.
I had the thinley sliced beef and rocket salad for my starter and my boyfriend the tomato salad both fresh and nice.
For my main I had a pizza and it was so fresh and home made that its a must for next time, whilst my boyfriend had the pasta with pama ham and a cream sauce, He said it was nice but he much prefered my pizza.
With 2 glasses of house wine and a juice the total bill came to 35.00
Not too bad and yes I'd return. It does beat pizza express hands down

Had the pleasure of eating here last night with a friend.
Service was fantastic, really friendly and knowledgeable. Our waiter seemed to be a genuine 'foodie' who was really happy to discuss the food in detail and make recommendations.
Starter was great and generous in portion. We had the pesto and tomato bread, which was like having half a pizza. Delicious.
Main course we both had pasta dishes. I would normally think twice before ordering pasta in a place like Strada, but I've been impressed with their non-pizza dishes before, and this time was no exception. I had the ragu spaghetti, which was nicely al dente. My companion went for the seafood linguine which was equally fantastic.
Dessert was pretty good. Was torn between the pannatone bread and butter pudding (which I'd had before and is lovely) and the fondante with rum and coffee icecream. Went for the latter on the advice of the waiter, who played up its tiramisu flavours. He was not wrong. The centre of the fondante part could have been a little more liquid, but all in all it was a good dessert.
A good experience - I will certainly be back. And the non-pizza dishes are great, contrary to the opinion above.
