Italian deli concept Pulia will launch its first UK site in Borough Market in February 2015. It will specialise in produce from the southern Italian region of Puglia, from traditional breads and cheeses to salads, dried pasta, wine and olive oil. Customers will be able to buy produce to take away or eat on site in the 30-seater dining area.

On March 6th, Scott Hallsworth will open Joe's Oriental Diner on the former site of his Kurobuta pop-up, which has moved up the road to larger (permanent) premises. Joe's will serve dishes like coconut short rib rendang, rare BBQ beef salad with nam prik, wood oven roast scallops with chilli jam, and fire cracker chicken.

Opening on the 8th floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the City this autumn, Galadari is a penthouse-inspired restaurant, bar and roof terrace. The restaurant will serve Japanese grilled meats and seafood, sushi, and light izakaya-style small plates. On the drinks front, there will be shochu cocktails, Japanese whiskey, bespoke teas, sake, and a range of Laurent Perrier vintages.
