Japanese ramen restaurant Kanada-Ya is launching its first UK location on St Giles High Street this August. It will specialize in authentic tonkotsu ramen and all noodles will be made on site. Their signature ramen includes a secret sauce which is imported from the original restaurant where it is hand-made by Mr Kanada.

Opening on the 8th floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the City this September, Galadari is a penthouse-inspired restaurant, bar and roof terrace. The restaurant will serve Japanese grilled meats and seafood, sushi, and light izakaya-style small plates. On the drinks front, there will be shochu cocktails, Japanese whiskey, sake, and a range of Laurent Perrier vintages.
