An ideal time to dine here, the restaurant was far from packed which meant the service was prompt and the staff extremely friendly and efficiant. The set course menus are excellent if a little pricey, but then you are in the City. We were made to feel welcome even without a booking on a busy day. The food was excellent and the service prompt and unobtrusive. I can't comment on the price as I didn't pay! However, I was very pleasantly surprised by all aspects of our visit. The service was friendly and attentive, the food delicious, and given it's City location, I thought the prices acceptable.
