London-eaten. Things we've scoffed and swilled

Restaurants reviewed last month

January is a cruel month for restaurants. Guilt ridden diners all staying at home dieting makes for bad business. So do yourself a favour and forget the gym and other resolutions you know you wont keep and get out and about and see what dining deals you can strike. One thing's for sure, the restaurants will be pleased to see you.

Mosaique City. Two cuisines in one restaurant

Beach Blanket Babylon Ladbroke Grove. A great night out.

Black Pepper Lavender Hill. Persian meets Italian and lives happily.

Chair Westbourne Grove. Sitting pretty comfortably and doing it organically.

Aura Kitchen St James. A cool nightclub with hot food.

The Depot Mortlake. Fabulous river views , seasonal and regional menu.

Entrecote Cafe deParis Marylebone. Steak and frites done deliciously.

Winter Garden Marylebone. Fine dining under the atrium.

Crussh Various locations. Rather smart sandwiches and light lunches.

Babalou Brixton. Smart urban food in an impressive crypt.

The Cinnamon Club Westminster. A superior 'Indian' and a tikka-free zone.

May we as usual take this opportunity to remind you that if a restaurant really gives you a bad time, please talk to them and allow them a chance to explain/make amends before you trash them on the website!
