Thai Pin review by Ollie

My second visit to this great little Covent Garden Thai gem. This time we were doing 'pre-theatre' and i was not surprised that it was busy. What did surprise me was to find that some of the cast of the show were at a table just behind me. Quite exciting really but we didn't ask for autographs. We took a gamble and ordered the same as the cast without knowing what we were in for. Good move. Delicious mussels in lemon grass soup. Spicy vegetables that were really fresh crisp. Tofu which was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. A beef massaman curry which was really full of flavour. We were very impressed.

Service was efficient but the girls were happy to take time to explain. The food did not appear as quickly as it does in many restaurants but the food at Thai Pin was obviously freshly cooked so we were very happy when it did arrive.

I hope I can get back to Thai Pin soon. Nice place, great food, friendly people.
