Jerk City review by Jac
We went to Jerk City over the weekend and once again had a lovely meal. We had a tiny blip to start with, the young lady at the counter was trying to do too many things at once, so instead of putting our order though as a eat in she did it as take away. we were left seated at our table for over 40min ( which is rare in Jerk City as they are always so promt) . However we were offered free drinks because our food was left sitting at the till in take away boxes!...
The food when it finally arrived was lovelya nd you get so much, the stew chicken and rice and peas was lovely and the curry goeat even better! The coleslaw which I am sure is home made is good too.
I really do love this place and the staff are so friendly.
Oh............ We asked about the new Mr Jerk next door, it appears one of the owners or partners decided to leave the old resturant and open a new one next door , He reclaimed the name Mr Jerk . However we were assured the now Jerk City still has the origional owner from years ago and the same chefs!
I hope Ive got that all right!
I did take a peek at the new Mr Jerk looks nice , a bit more like a bar at the front and a resturant at the back, I will giv eit a try next time.

Again gave Jerk City 8/10 for food and service
