RaRa review by SalGrove

I had a fantastic experience at this retaurant last night. On a dreary wet evening we dropped in on the off-chance and were lucky to find a spare table. The welcome was warm and service impeccable in this small and stylish Nepalese restaurant.

The serving of crudites to start with is a great idea and the Nepalese signature dishes are divine - their flavours were subtle and varied. Vegetable dishes were fresh and appealing and the naan bread was light and digestible. Ghurka beer as well as Indian brands make an excellent accompaniment to the menu. We didn't try the wine list.

Yes, you can find some of the usual Indian favourites too, but these are all prepared with care and originality.

Portions were just right - not too much - and not too litle.

Tables are quite close together, so bear that in mind if you want a tete-a-tete!

The bill was reasonable bearing in mind that this is not a run-of-the-mill Asian experience. It worked out at about £25.00 ech for more than enough to eat.

Aa an avid Indian foodie, I am a now a real fan of this relatively new addition to the the Kew eating scene.
