Yum Yum Thai Restaurant review by Chad
I've been here a few times, and every visit seems to get worse. Went with 2 friends on Saturday night, and the usual trick of forcing you to sit in the bar for at least 10 minutes before being seated (despite having a reservation, and there being several empty tables) was in effect again.
Our wine took about 25 minutes to arive at the table, and when we ordered, our server was annoyed that nobody was having a starter, and then barked at us to "Just read the number" when ordering food. In doing this, he had to make 2 return trips to the table to find out the specifics of the order (seafood or chicken, etc).
Some of our food arrived cold, with the obvious signs of being under-microwaved. Once returned warm, the food was alright, but pretty bland and uninspiring. Some of the cocktails were okay, but by the time they actually arrived, you usually had forgotten you even ordered it.
Overall, this place seems to be letting itself down as time goes on. In terms of facilities, it has quite a bit going for it, but it seems to be greatly mismanaged.
