Rhodes W1 Brasserie review by Mr and Mrs
Went mid-week to take advantage of the fixed price special evening menu. The bar staff are snooty, but the waiting staff are friendly and professional. The decor is very dark and rather depressing. The music from the bar is loud, and thuds annoyingly in the background as your are eating. We had 2 courses, plus aperitifs and were out in less than 1 hour. We felt rushed, to say the least. The starters were good, the main course was adequate and the desserts looked unappetising. Apparently the concept is for a "club/bar" type atmosphere; it probably works better if you come for the music, rather than the dining experience. I would have hated to pay full price!
