Suka review by meme_07

Ah, yes, the 'other restaurant' that tried to con us into ordering eight starters for four people. Of course, it may also help if the waiter knows what wines are on his menu (or just employ a sommelier if it's that difficult, although it's not the largest selection in the world). Or if, in fact, there was one specific waiter who knew what he was doing at all.

I actually think we were very unfortunate, as it was a warm night, but the placing of the patio heaters in the garden was so appalling that we retreated inside, next to the bar.

Nevertheless, the food, although it sounded great on the menu, didn't satisfy. Two of our starters were placed to one side, I hardly ate any of my sakmon, it was that bland, and I'm afraid that the atmosphere and that fact that the restaurant is in one of my favourite nightspots are the saving graces to this eatery. Wouldn't recommend it unless it's a last minute, already-drinking-in-the-Sanderson descision. And even then I'd stay away from the langoustines ...
