Blushes Cafe review by CB

Blushes has a great position on the King's Road, and with some outside tables, could really be quite a decent place to go.

Sadly, the menu hasn't been changed in years and looks quite tired. It's also very overpriced for what it is (despite the location). Lunch yesterday came to over £30 for two, but that was only a main course each, together with a soft drink.

Once you add in the "optional" 12.5% service charge, that's £35. Quite frankly, that's shocking. The service was also pretty poor - a remarkably surly waitress who was paying little attention to what was going on.

I shan't be going back until it looks like it's had a bit of a shake-up. My companion described it as a prime candidate for a visit from Gordon Ramsay and I'm afraid that's right.
