Zizzi (Paddington St) review by Anon

Quite awful expierence really. I went with a friend for lunch there. Restaurant was quite empty at that point. We made our orders and get on chating. A waiter told it will take about 15 min. After 40 min we realised that we soon need to go back to work. When we inquired about our order, an apologetic waiter told us that he has forgotten to place and order and has just ordered it. My friend had to rush for meeting, so they offered to give take away with something quickly to prepare. We were told - everything on house. Since I had a little more time Iremained waiting for my order and was told whatever I want - that's on the house. When food came - it was tasteless but I made execuses for them thinking that they tried to prepare it as quick as possible . But by the time I had to leave there was different waiter who told that it's not on house, only take-away was on house (which they were preparing for someone else anyway).

When I went back to work and told a collegue the story - she said that she had similar expierence just a couple of weeks ago.

If you ever dare to go to this place - put on your alarm clock and record your conversation with waiter on tape!!!
