PJ's Bar & Grill (Chelsea) review by Anon
I hardly ever bother to write reviews of London restaurants as they typically would end up being rants about the terrible service. My boyfriend and I went to PJ's last Saturday for a late lunch and I was thoroughly impressed by the service. We were seated originally near a table full of rowdy men. Without our even having to ask, we were offered to change tables to one further from the noise. Once seated, service was prompt and attentive, but never overbearing. There was never a difficulty getting the attention of a staff member and all our needs were anticipated before we even had to ask. Having lived in Britain for two years, PJ's is the only restaurant I have dined at in which the service standards even come close to those in America.
That said, the food wasn't particularly noteworthy. Great hamburgers, but definitely avoid the chilled pea soup!
