Thai Room review by Nisha Evans

My husband and I had a meal here recently before going to Jongleurs which is right next door. We both agreed the food was bland - the 'massaman' curry was no such thing, just stringy lamb in a red thai curry sauce which tasted as if it was straight out of a (cheap) jar. It wasn't a particulary warm day but large window was wide open and the place was freezing. If you want good food rather than fancy decor then forget this overpriced place and go to the Prig Thai Cafe in Longbridge Rd, Barking. You can take in your own booze, the food is fantastic and they could certainly teach some much more expensive places how to cook a massaman!
