Browns (Covent Garden) review by Anon
this is the second time i have eaten here and the second time i have been impressed. the asparagus tart was delicious as was the cheese pasta parcels i had as a starter. i definitely recomend the pre or post theatre meal deal as two courses for £13 is excellent value especially when the food is so tasty. (whoever suggested sharing a starter and a dessert with a friend- thanks! great idea)
watch out on the alcohol- pushes the prices up rather but if you prefer a non-alcoholic selection, they provide a good range of fruit juices (you can mix them up too!)
our waitress was very friendly but not over bearing and insisted that there was no rush for us to decide what we wanted, eat it or pay for it, which was a nice touch considering it got quite busy while my friend and i chomped and chatted slowly away.
my only real complaints are that the person who showed us to a table forgot to give up the pre/post theatre menu so we had to ask to look at it and the table next to us was really too close for comfort.
excellent restaurant though :)
