Eds Easy Diner (Soho) review by Brad

Went here with a few friends for a bite to eat one evening as one of us had been before and recommended it.

Hmmm what can I say about this place. Im sort of in 2 minds about it.

On the one hand the burger was decent quality, filling and pretty tasty. The American Diner style is pulled of well and the lady who served us was really nice and friendly.

On the flipside the food was VERY expensive, which I suppose isnt that shocking considering this is central London we are talking about. But when you factor in their, seemingly, mandatory 12.5% gratuity on top of that it. Something I thought was only done in swanky restaurants and the US (Where it isnt so bad cos everything is so cheap in the first place).

They also would only cook from medium-well done. As someone who likes his meat rare I was a little disappointed by this.

Also those wonderful little jukeboxes on the counter.... didnt seem to actually work. Thus we wasted a few 20p discovering this.

I can't really see myself going back there too often unless I want my wallet to be assaulted again.
