Boulevard Dining Room review by Claire
I've been to Boulevard a few times though I wouldn't go back again by choice. The waiting staff are generally friendly enough and the atmosphere is great but I always leave feeling a bit ripped off. The food choice is small from the £15 set menu but that's not unusual for a fixed price menu. The thing that most disappoints me is the food itself; the portions are on the small side, it is generally bland and/or poorly cooked and leaves me feeling like I made a bad menu choice... but now I've tried a few of their dishes I have realised that leaving feeling like want something more is par for the course at Boulevard. It’s a shame that doesn't live up to the expectation set by the ambience and service and you probably pay a premium for the touristy location but there are plenty of better restaurants within a short walk.
