The Lebanese Diner review by

I went there for lunch yesterday and it was a rather bad experience.

They had forgotten to change the dish of the day on the board, which resulted in me having a dish I had not ordered. And I was quite disappointed by their moussaka, which is more a sauce than a dish, without meet or bechamel...

I would definitely not recommand this place.

In response to the review complaining about the Mousaka, I would like to say that first of all MEAT is spelt like this not MEET. I am a regular customer at the Lebanese Diner for the past year, I am a vegetarian and eat their mousaka at least once a week and am grateful that they have a large selection of vegetarian food, my husband eats meat and loves the freshness of their food, and my two kids are great fans of their mezzas. Also the board outside always has one dish of the day with meat and one without, maybe the mistake was the fault of the customer not being clear, how can this customer expect meat in a dish which has a "V" sign next to it! Also Lebanese food does not contain bechamel sauce perhaps he/she was in the wrong place! Every country has it's own version of mousaka which is according to regional foods and flavours and ALL LEBANESE restaurants serve mousaka exactly like this. I bring my friends and work colleagues here regularly and have never had cause to complain, the food is fresh, tasty and excellent value for money. the staff is polite, friendly and courteous. Perhaps this customer should go to Macdonalds where the menu is clear enough, this will be better for them. I would always recommend the Lebanese Diner to anyone who asks me and now that the are fully licenced we enjoy Lebanese wines too.
