Golden Hind review by Gary and Diane

What can we say except this place is a gem. A stone's throw from the maddening crowd of Oxford Street lies the Golden Hind. Between four of us we had two starters (prawn cocktail and scampi), four mains (three cod and chips and one rock and chips), two puddings (bread & butter pudding and spotted dick, both with custard), and two coffees. All this came to £50 and was cooked to perfection, the Golden Hind is so much more than a run of the mill chip shop. And if this isn't enough there's no charge for corkage so we ate a fine meal washed down with some decent plonk. 11 out of 10!
