Oxo Tower Restaurant review by Rebecca Taylor
We visited the Oxo Tower Restaurant Valentines weekend and it was fabulous!!!
We booked a table online, which my partner was a bit dubious about but they phoned 3 nights before to confirm.
When we arrived we were seated straight away. We didnt have a window table but at night with the sexy low lighting you can see the Thames view from practically anywhere you sit in the restaurant.
The food was fantastic, each course was a pleasure to taste. We did order some french beans and creamed mashed potato as extras, which was nice to be able to do as a lot of restaurants dont offer this.
The highlight of the evening was when my partner ordered the cheese board.
It was wheeled out on a trolley and there must have been over 20 different cheeses to which the waiter went through each and every one with us and even gave us some extra so that I could have a taste.
The bill came to a final total of £170 which was for 2 people, 3 courses and a bottle of wine, considering its London though I thought was quite resonable.
It was a truely professional evening with great service and even better food!!
We would both definately recommend this restaurant to anyone.
