Michael Moore review by Spencer

I visited Michael Moores last week. I have to say the food was very poor. To start I had the Mackerel, which at best was OK. Far too much gelatine. The steak for main was good, but very expensive £30! Which is more that you would pay at the Gaucho. For pudding I had the Brule, which was burnt. The waiter did take this off the bill, which for 2 people came to £150 including 1 bottle of wine.

the gelatine comment brings back bad memories of our visit! This diner's experience definitely sounds like ours, so clearly they have something to fix in their kitchen. my guess is the appetizers are the weakest link. (we skipped desert to avoid any further potential disappointment). I agree that the mains are quite pricey, especially given you'll pay another 12-16 quid for any vegetables you want with the meat. come on guys, raise your game and really deliver.
