Awana review by Jayda
I previously went to Mango Tree, which is a fabulous restaurant excellent in everyway. So I decided to try it's sister restaurant Awana. First of all the place looks very pretty and the entrance is welcoming. My friend and I were taken to a bar area to wait to be seated. From here it kind of went downhill all the way. The staff were unfriendly and appeared to be in a rush although we were the first people of the evening. The menu has so much things on it you would thing it would be easy to pick at least something to eat, but no it was actually not appetising at all. The food was quite pricey for what it was but for good food I do not much mind, which it was not! Again when picking something to order the waiters were so impatient you felt you had to order as he lingered around the table not actually giving us time to drawl through the menu. The food came late and was cold. The service got considerably worse where I believe we were actually being ignored as more and more people started coming in. The service appeared to be consistently bad with everyone else so that made us feel a little better. We also had to wait ages for our bill. I don't usually write reviews but because Awana was so rubbish I thought I should let people know what my experience of it was. I have not metioned the food that much because it was forgettable, boring and cold diguised in fancy words on the menu.
