I went there a week ago with my daughter for a joint birthday treat - and it really was a treat! The service was superb and the staff made us both feel very special. We had a glass of champagne in the Catch Bar before coming into 1901. The setting is really lovely and the food was superb. We paid for 3 courses but received 3 more - some little canapes to start, a delicious sorbet between main and dessert and some petit fours after dessert. The courses we paid for were delicious, very well cooked and beautifully presented.
An absolute gentleman dining alone next to us thought that there was so much love showing between my daughter and I that he bought us some vintage champagne! All in all, a very memorable evening and one I hope to repeat soon!
