Mandarin Kitchen review by RT

We had booked a table for my father's 60th birthday last night. The food was nice, but our waitress was APPALLING.

She literally would REFUSE our requests. For example, my dad asked for an extra shot of whiskey in his glass, and she said "no, next time". What is that about? She finally went and did what she was asked when I got angry.

Also, we asked for some chilli oil, and when it arrived, there was only a small amount, not enough, so we asked for some more, and she told us that she'd only bring more when we'd finished what she'd already given!!!!!

Plus we had to ask several times for water etc.

AND she refused to take a picture of us.

Rude, appalling service. I don't care how good the food is (and it wasn't outstanding) but I think that meals at restaurants should be pleasant, relaxing experiences. Waitresses who don't seem to understand that the CUSTOMER pays the BILL should be fired.

All of this and they had the cheek to demand a 10% tip?????? For non-existant service????

They are mad. I'm never going back.
