We, too, were at Hakkasan last night and had a lovely time. Perhaps it was because we'd booked the table for 9pm (actually when my husband rang to make the booking (three weeks ago) and asked for a table at 8.30 the terse voice on the end of the line replied '7 o'clock' without explanation, after a bit of argy-bargy they agreed on 9pm). We arrived 20 minutes early and were taken to our table immediately. The service was efficient, in a good way, and the food utterly delicious - tho' I'd pass on the salt and pepper squid, it was poor - our local noodle restaurant's is outstanding. We weren't rushed to leave (having read the recent reviews I wasn't looking forward to this part of the evening) and I can't wait to return to explore the rest of the menu - perhaps passing the fish dishes the prices did make my eyes water!
