Agree with previous positive reviews. Excellent service - very patient with big group taking ages to order! High quality ingredients, interesting seasonal menu. Mid-week menu particularly good value. Mains were rated highly by everyone in the group. Puddings slightly less successful but still good. My only quibble was the square plates - I'm allergic!
The reviewer quoted on the restaurant web site compares Lamberts to Chez Bruce and while its not really in the same league, Lamberts is a good less expensive alternative.
