Deep review by James Dawson

having read the previous review, i approached with some trepidation....needlessly it turned out. I spent a truly wonderful evening at Deep. Although the menu is priced towards the top end of the market, the friendly service and large portions do even things out. I had the sole meunier which i have to say is the best of it's type that I have eaten in some time (perhaps an indication of the Scandanavian influence running through Deep?)..my partner had the lamb, and her meal arrived lean and tender. We were close to choosing the 'taster platter'that seems to be a speciality of the restaurant, but we just didn't think we could manage so many courses! We then took dessert in the bar-lounge area, with our coffees..it was a nice to change to have this offered to us as an option, rather than as in a lot of so-called quality London restaurants where you are turfed out having literally finished the last bite of your main course.......we will be back with our friends & family!
