Northbank Restaurant & Bar review by Gemstone

Absolutely superb location overlooking the river and views over the wobbly bridge to the Tate Modern. Lovely terrace with tasteful planting and large umbrellas. Interesting modern menu offering great choice and vrey reasonably priced.

We had the set lunch menu - prawns with a garlic mayonnaise followed by roast chicken with truffle mash. Both were very well done. Subtle, summery tastes - perfect for a lovely summers day,

The service was pleasant enough but was just too slow. We will be back as the setting is very special and the food is good. It just needs to pick up the pace and get a touch slicker.
