Andreas review by James Suzuki
I must say this is one of the worst restuarants, (if not the worst) I've been to in London. I ordered the chicken kebab, and it was a total p*ss-take. I get eight very small pieces of char-grilled chicken with minimal amount of salad and no pita bread. And to add insult to injury, this dish was £13.50p! For that price I could have had a real kebab from some West-End kebab shop for half or even a third of that price. The food was not good. I really mean not good - in taste or value for money. Rocket salad was £4, and it seemed like they had bought the salad from a local supermarket and poured it straight into a bowl. Drinks were a rip-off too, £2 for a glass of coke, and remember we didn't even touch the wine. My partner had the chicken poussin, which was much better in terms of the portion, but then again, this was £16.50. I think with the amount we spent (£38!!!) we could have went to a much nicer resturant possibly with music! And a candle-lit dinner for creating the romantic atmosphere, rather than the manager diming down the lights in an attempt to create what he called a "romantique atmosphere!" I was so angry and truly disappointed with the food, at the end I refused to pay for the service charge, this was how bad it was! After leaving I felt I have just wasted my evening as well as my money - I was neither satisfied with the food nor the value for money, nor the atmosphere. So should you want to embark on such a "wonderful experience" that's the place to go, otherwise, be warned and stay well clear and spend your money elsewhere.
