Thai Pin review by Natasha

Have eaten here twice now, once last year and again this year. After having been the first time, I was hoping that the portion size would have been increased upon my return but unfortunately this was not the case. The food was quite authentic but the portion size is more like a child's portion with adult prices! After having a starter and a main, I was left still feeling hungry. I still think I got away with it quite well actually as debating between the Pad Thai and Red Chicken Curry, I opted for the curry. The customer sitting next to me ordered the Pad Thai for main and it looked more like a small starter than a main meal. Deciding against the desert (as there was nothing of particular interest on the menu) my date decided to try the Thai Custard at £3.95 per portion. When it arrived, we were extremely disappointed. On the plate was a 3cm x 8cm sliver of custard. Although my date was suitably impressed with the taste, it did not overcome the price. Overall, the food was good but portions are just too small and prices too expensive. I am a rather small petite woman as well and was still left feeling I could go for another round...disappointing.
