Fredericks review by Charger
Very cute and inviting, I had high expectations. However, a plate of whitebait was dry and overcooked. The saltimboca was lovely.
The only real problem was that we rocked up for lunch at 2pm. We wanted to linger a while over our bottle of wine. Unfortunately we were really rushed by the waitress and the manager. We actually asked after our entrees if we could have 10 minutes break but we were told no and our mains came out straight away, they were already cooked and waiting for us to finish our entrees. That meant we were so stuffed we couldn't really enjoy our mains.
The staff hovered around us, applying unspoken pressure for us to get up, pay up and get out.
Shame.
