Thai Pin review by Ric
I visited the Thai Pin restaurant on two occasions recently, and was extremely impressed with the food, service, and price. Location is great as close to Covent Garden and The Strand.
On the first visit I started with King Prawns wrapped in pastry, followed by the Chicken with Sweet Chilli Sauce. Both of these were delightful, and the Chilli Sauce was amazing.
On the second occasion I had the Chicken Satay followed by the Thai Green Chicken Curry, and again was totally impressed.
I agree that the portions are not huge, but this is a Thai restaurant, and not an American diner where the plates are over-loaded. Thai food is about taste, quality, and presentation - all of these are in evidence at Thai Pin.
Staff are extremely pleasant, helpful, but not intrusive, and prices are average for London - but remember you are getting quality food in the Thai Pin.
