A friend of mine tells me Melbourne is the best place to eat out in the world and they have the best of everything, whether its pizza, falaffel, vegetarian cheese sticks or whatever..
Curry 'WAS' on that list til he tried the Chicken Penang in CW ! Lisa is on my speed-dial and the second she hears my voice the only question is whether i'm eating there or taking it away..
John the owner is a serious Arsenal supporter but we try not to hold that against him.. (we are in Arsenal territory afterall!).. they boast the only big screen in all of Old street and they have a serious understanding of how loud music needs to be in order to enjoy it.. even when the place turns into a nightclub that goes on ad infinitum !! have had some great nights here..
no matter who I bring they cannot get over the place, the friendly atmosphere, the tasty food and of course the footy !!!
oh yea, my friend comes over about 2/3 times a year and we always go for a quick 2 person starter and a Chicken Penang each !!
