Sherlock's Bar & Grill review by Annie

My husband & I ate here Aug 15. The complimentary sangria was excellent, the bread came with a very tasty aged-balsamic & olive oil mix. We both ordered the foie gras. Very diappointed; the worst foie gras dish I've ever had. The terrine was mixed with some bean paste that completely covered up the taste of the foie gras. He had the halibut: very bland, no character. I had the monk fish: very flavourful mushroom sauce, fish a bit overcooked. The waitress was very nice, but didn't exactly tell the truth when she said the dishes do not come with anything so we should order sides; when in actually, both came with vegetables. If it wasn't for the 30% off offer through TopTables, the meal would have been too expensive. The food, though very beautifully presented, lacked flavour. Will not return.
