I'm going to talk about the service in this review. Something has gone badly wrong at this restaurant.
For a start, I would appreciate it if the staff could wear something other than jeans when on duty. I had trouble identifying them among the customers.
Secondly, it would be nice if some of them could be around when you needed them - like when paying the bill. Here I kid you not. I actually had to phone them from my table to ask them for the bill!
I spoke with the manageress prior to leaving. She was surprised that I'd made this phone call, but not fazed in any way. I know if I were in her position, I'd be surely embarrassed. She did not offer to put things right, although she had ample opportunity.
Not sure why I left a tip.
