Marco Polo review by Pattie Mason

This place seems to have wildly varying reviews, from fantastic to terrible. Our experience was just very mediocre. On the plus side it's in a great location and it's quite pleasantly done out. Unfortunately, there's not much else to add there. For starters we had the fried calamari which were fantastic and a bruschetta with buffalo mozarella, which was okay. The mains were distinctly average, with a crab ravioli that looked fresh out of the supermarket packet, and some extremely forgettable seabass. Dessert was chocolate profiteroles, which were rather oversweet and cloying. The service was on a par with the food, pretty average, polite but slow.

Great location but unfortunately it doesn't make up for the food. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it.
