Nakhon Thai - Waterfront review by Charlee

I live near Nakhon Thai, have been there many times, and every time has been brilliant. I cannot fault the service, the food or the location, though if you approach the restaurant from the back - as the previous reviewer says - it does feel a bit dodgy. Instead, park at Britannia Quays or around at the hotel and walk around the waterfront to the restaurant - it's so much more impressive when taking a lovely lady, and feels a lot safer as well... If coming by DLR you should get off at West Silvertown and walk through the Britannia Quays village to the restaurant.

Overall I give nine out of ten for Nakhon Thai - they are so good that the only way they would reach a ten is if they allowed you to BYO wine/champagne and charged a reasonable corkage charge of (let's say) £3 per head!!!!

review comments

Why the comment on corkage. Restaurants are businesses designed to make money. They make mark up on wine. They are not just designed to give you the cheapest night out possible. THis is a totally unreasonable comment.
